Description: Fairly tall and broad, Adam reaches a little over six feet in height with muscles all over. They're not body-builder bulky muscles, but they are more noticeable than lean muscles. His hair is a decent length, long enough to spike up a bit or ruffle in the wind, and a dark brown color. His eyes are a bright blue. He tends to not have much of a fashion sense, opting to dress in jeans and whatever clean-ish shirt he happens to find.
Personality: Adam is the strong, silent type who prefers to follow rather than lead. He's an observer, one that is inclined to think of possible outcomes regarding the situation but defers to the closest figure of authority no matter his thoughts. He has difficulty identifying people as friends, tending to be easily swayed by outside influences on that matter, but he's fairly loyal to those he considers on his side as long as he believes they are still in the right. He is quite the force to be reckoned with, so consider yourself lucky if he does not view you as an enemy!
Powers: Golem's powers have to do with the earth and the ground. His main abilities are best described as earth armor and terrakinesis.
Golem is able to transform his skin into a hard, rock-like hide. With this earth armor, his bulk increases to twice his size and grants him the strength to lift up to 2000 pounds, or about one ton. He is also immune to most wind-based attacks, able to stand strong in the wake of a standard twister. Whatever clothes he wears also transform with him, solidifying around his skin and may even provide extra "padding" depending on how heavy his clothes are (for example, a sweater will seem thicker around his torso than a simple t-shirt). His armor is generally thick enough to stop knives and smaller bullets.
His terrakinesis is a bit more straightforward and concentrated on the earth's dirt and stone. With this ability, he is able to control the earth and dirt around him, making minor earthquakes, lifting and directing rocks and dirt clods in the air, or constructing them into walls or "minions." He can also get around by "burrowing" into the dirt, his terrakinesis allowing him to shape tunnels underground for travel. The more dirt and rocks he controls, the more he needs to concentrate. If he attempts to control too much at once, his focus will deteriorate into a strong headache and he tends to lose control, meaning all of the rocks and dirt under his command will just plummet to the ground.
Weaknesses: Golem's abilities lie in strength and power. As such, with his earth armor, he's not very light on his feet, and he has a disadvantage over speedier foes. Another weakness is his disadvantage against water-based attacks. Although he can withstand the wind, Golem for some reason can get harmed easily when it comes to water. He sinks like the literal rock he is when in his armor, and strong rains and waves tend to chip away at his armor. Parts where his armor was chipped away tend to leave bruises and sometimes cuts on his human skin.
A weakness regarding his terrakinesis abilities is that he can only work with what he sees. He is unable to create earth and rock out of thin air, and can only control the ground that is available to him. He can also only use his terrakinesis abilities while "suited up" in his earth armor.
Skills/Hobbies: Due to being a bit of an introvert, Adam does enjoy reading. He's not the brightest student when it comes to classes, but he's pretty proficient when it comes to finding new books to enjoy. He also likes to keep his "human form" in shape and likes a handful of sports, like football and baseball.
History: Adam was born to a woman named Ginger Rozelyn, and he doesn't remember much of her. Ginger was a professional escort in one of the more run-down areas of Boston, Massachusetts, and Adam's father was one of her clients. During the first few years of his life, Adam lived in an old apartment building where his mother and other escorts set up shop, and he was cared for well enough by Ginger and her colleagues. Whenever his mother was busy, one of the other escorts watched over him, and they all got by just fine.
However, Ginger and some of the other escorts were stuck in a world of debt to a local loan shark, and one day when Adam was about ten years old, the loan shark's leg-breakers took out Ginger and their other previous clients. Adam escaped from the building but wasn't sure where to go. He was eventually found by a street gang and earned a place in their ranks due to his quiet obedience. Even when his powers manifested about two years later, he kept his spot in the gang due to his earth armor appearing and shielding the other members from the police, enabling all to escape.
He had been with that gang until he was about 16 years old when the gang was caught. He served a brief stint in juvenile prison, becoming a ward of the state. His probation officer found the Brotherhood boarding house, hoping that a home-like environment would do Adam some good. Adam was uprooted and moved to Bayville and is just doing his best to fit in.
First Appearance Scene: Either first showing up at the Brotherhood boarding house or trying to figure out Bayville High School, whichever the timeline allows.
