Description: Being a teenager who cares more about video games than exercise, Andrew is fit enough to not seem unhealthy, but he has nothing in common with the athletes of the school. He doesn't mind physical activities, really, he just prefers to exercise his mind. He's fairly tall, reaching about five feet, nine inches, but is no stranger to being hunched over his phone or computer. He's a little pale -- not unhealthily so -- with dark brown hair and brown eyes. Glasses are a must with his wardrobe, which usually consists of well-fitting jeans, sneakers, and a sarcastic t-shirt or cozy hoodie.
Personality: Analytical and creative, Andrew is the type of guy to love projects, whether they are academic or personal. He's book smart and knows it, and has no problem talking about his latest puzzles with others. He's also no stranger to telling others when they're wrong, which doesn't win him many friends. Fortunately, he's too confident -- or distracted -- to truly care about what others think of him.
With that said, he is fairly social and enjoys being with people almost as much as he enjoys his time with his computers or video games. Andrew likes meeting new people, learning new stories, and going on out dates. He'll do what he can to get what he wants -- he'll do a football player's homework for a cheerleader's phone number, for example -- as he has a need to see things through to the end. Andrew will keep working at something until he is satisfied with the results, whether it's a science experiment or a person.
He can be pretty excitable as well and can be found rambling about his newest finds or going off on what he deems as an adventure. As such, Andrew can be pretty fun to have around if one doesn't mind the potential risk factors when it comes to his plans. Wanna go rock climbing? He'll have all the necessary equipment, but the place he chooses may not exactly be legal. While he may not be the best influence, he's not a bad kid.
Powers: Irrelevant, as he's human (although he would be the type to cite his computer smarts as a superpower).
Weaknesses: Andrew has all the typical human weaknesses. He also has a soft spot for new electronics and girls.
Skills/Hobbies: Being an absolute geek, Andrew spends most of his free time tinkering with his computers and playing video games. When something new grabs his attention, he'll research the hell out of it, making him proficient in finding answers and having a slew of random facts in his mind. Mysteries and puzzles are also some of his favorites, and he dreams frequently of travel.
History: Born to Gary and Juliana Harvey, Andrew is their only child. Considering his precociousness, he probably tired out his parents before they could even think of having another baby.
Both Gary and Juliana were fairly young on their own as well, and Andrew is pretty sure he was an accidental pregnacy. Juliana was only twenty-one when she got pregnant with Gary being twenty-three, and their wedding happened quickly after they found out Juliana was with child. In order to support his new wife and growing family, Gary frequently worked more than one job with being a mechanic as his steadiest form of income. Juliana found a job with and continues to work for the day care they found for Andrew.
The little family does well and care about one another, but seeing how hard his parents work contributed to Andrew's ambition to do well for himself. From a young age, he learned to entertain himself and spent much of his time with his books, research, and electronics. While he does his best to make sure his parents are proud of him, Andrew is more concerned with being sure he is proud of himself, and he showcases that with his grades and reputation around Bayville High.
First Appearance Scene: Out and about in Bayville, either at school or just in the city in general. If there's any activity with mutants that he could witness or try to shoulder his way through, that'd be interesting.
