Description: Isaac has the tall, broad, muscled body of an athlete, and he's very proud of it. He works out regularly to stay in shape and takes care of himself health-wise. He's probably one of the tallest students at Bayville High, reaching about six feet. His hair is a light brown, almost a strawberry-blond, color with plenty of highlights from being outside whenever he can. His eyes are a light blue and can be described as gray in the right light. His clothing style emphasizes comfort and the ability to easily move considering that he enjoys being on the go.
Personality: Isaac is the type of guy who wants to get ahead in life. He's ambitious and serious about his goals, working hard toward what he wants, which is a full-fledged football scholarship to become a pro player. With this mindset, he's fairly aloof to others unless said others would help him further his goals. He is sociable and appreciates those he views as friends, but is vainer than most can handle. He's active, athletic, and adaptable, doing his best to maneuver in the world in order to get what he wants. Isaac is one to have fun and relax often enough, of course, especially in the company of a pretty lady. When it comes to mutants, Isaac claims he's neutral, especially since he's never had a mutant get the way of what he wants. However, his father isn't a fan of mutants, and that feeling may rub off on Isaac.
Weaknesses: Although he's pretty athletic, Isaac is a human with all of the usual susceptibilities of his kind. He's also rather single-minded, focusing on furthering his future goals, and doesn't do well with multitasking. Considering he's a straight, hormonal high school student, young women can be quite the distraction.
Skills/Hobbies: Aside from his athletic prowess, Isaac is actually a decent cook. He finds the methodical way of following recipes comforting, knowing that if he does the recipe just right, he will always succeed in making a good dish. He's also quite the outdoorsman, something he and his father bond over.
History: Isaac was born to Jason and Molly Bates, a pair that was ill-fated in their marriage. They were on-and-off-again high school sweethearts and, after not finding anyone else steady in their college years, got back together to get married to fulfill an imaginary quota of life. Both Jason's and Molly's parents were thrilled with the union, even if Jason and Molly were little more than just friends. Still, the pair were able to make the marriage work long enough for Molly to have twin boys.
Isaac and his brother Elliot were separated before their first birthday after the divorce of their parents, which earned Jason custody of Isaac and Molly custody of Elliot. Jason and Isaac had moved to Bayville while Molly and Elliot stayed in New York City. Both brothers knew the other existed when they had gotten old enough to understand their parents' divorce, and visited each other once in a while throughout the years. Eventually, Elliot and Molly moved to Bayville as well with Molly following a job offer at a local business, and Isaac and Elliot see each other fairly regularly through school.
Although Isaac and Elliot get along pretty well, the brothers can be at odds with each other considering that Isaac is more focused on his future while Elliot focuses on the present. Growing up with their father, Isaac has been pushed to figure out where he wants to go in life, to be sure that he takes care of himself, for fear of ending up in a doomed relationship because of a lack of prospects. Elliot never received that same sense of urgency from Molly. Instead, he was taught that everything happened for a reason and it would all turn out okay in the end.
At the moment, Isaac is making his way through high school, taking his classes and sports seriously in anticipation of the future.
First Appearance Scene: Someone could run into him at the park or in the school's gym/locker room/cafeteria.
